One Mom’s Story: Brandie and her boys, Rusten and Kadin
When Brandie’s first son, Rusten was born, the crying didn’t stop. Brandie knew that crying was normal for a newborn, but she also knew that Rusten seemed to be doing it too much. She says, “Rusten had colic and was a crying mess from late afternoon till bedtime which was about 9pm-10pm.” The whole thing was, as Brandi described, “a stressful event.” A baby who cries non-stop every afternoon of every day? Stressful is putting it mildly.
Brandie asked her pediatrician about it, and he prescribed reflux medication for Rusten. However, Brandie “. . . would much rather give my kids something natural versus a prescription” so she decided to do some research on her own. Turning to the internet, she started by researching “colic” and found some gripe water brands and home remedies. Brandie tried them, but they didn’t help and the crying continued. When Rusten was about six weeks old, Brandie turned to the internet again. This time, she found Colic Calm and liked that it was natural. She decided to order a bottle, and this time, unlike the other brands, it worked.
So when Brandie’s second son, Kadin, came into the world and showed signs of colic, she didn’t mess around. “When Kadin gets fussy from gas (or anything) I just give him a dose [of Colic Calm] and he calms down almost instantly. I even cut the dose in half and it still works,” says Brandie. Brandie goes on to say that Colic Calm was so effective that she gave Rusten doses of Colic Calm through the teething stage as well—and it worked it’s magic then too.
Brandie finishes her interview with the following, “I recommend that anyone I know with little ones use Colic Calm!!! I believe that using Colic Calm reduces the time the child has colic!! It is a relief for all parties involved—even to just get some rest.”
